Conservation: Tropheus moorii kasabae is evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species as (LC) least concern (2006). Less prized than the "sunsets" from Mpulungu and Kasakalawe, the "blue rainbows" are still of good sizes in the imports.
