Conservation: Aulonocara sp. 'pyramid' is not evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species. This species is not listed as threatened but since it lives over open sand and since I haven't been able to find this species in the last 10 years it may actually be threatened with extinction.
