Freshly collected from Lake George
Haplochromis pelagicus from Lake George, this species was identified in 1971 by P. H. Greenwood, who happened to be visiting the Lake at the same time as the photographer did, as H. pappenheimi. The species was split in 2023 by Vranken et al. as H. pelagicus. Photo by Michael K. Oliver.
