Vieja Bifasciata

Post by Kyle May » Sat Jan 31, 2009 9:33 pm

I finally trained my Viejas to clean glass....but the problem is that the papertowels keep melting in the water.
As you can see by the pic, they have been using their fins, but they keep leaving smudge marks on the glass.
Anybody know how I can get rid of the smudging? Should I get them a Sham Wow or something?

Thoughts?

I know a guy in Pawtucket using that Sham Wow. He said the only problem is it absorbs all the water in the tank before the fish finish polishing the glass! :D

Nice fish, Can't wait to see them grown up.

Thinking about the physics of the situation, I'd say that if the Sham Wow absorbed all the water in the tank, it would swell up to fill the entire tank, leaving the fish plastered to the side. It could be a boon for fish photography.

These guys are between 6 and 8 inches and their colors are really starting to pop.
If I had a real camera, I could get some really cool pics of them.

Did you try the vinegar/water mix yet?
