Packing Big Fish?

Post by Colton » Mon Nov 05, 2012 9:24 pm

Hello,

This year I have a few big fish that I need to sell at the extravaganza, I have a Frontosa that is around 9-10" and a Jack Dempsey that is around 8" I really don't want to put these guys through the auction but if it comes down to it, I'll have to. I don't want to have these guys in bags cause they are just too big for any bag that I have, does anyone know if a small clear sterilite container is allowed in the auction? or is there anything you guys have in mind that would work?

Colt, buckets and other types of rigid containers are often used when putting large or particularly spiny fish in an auction. It should be covered securely, but if we can open it to look inside, the fish is easier to sell. Just do what you have to do and as long as it's not messy, and we can deal with it.
