So, we bring food to share, some kind of gift, and then of course BAP fish, etc? I've never been to one of these.

Tim , you are really going to enjoy the Christmas meeting , it's a great time to socialize with fellow members and get to know them a little better. You don't have to partcipate in the gift exchange but it's alot of fun. I think that we said that a $10 limit for the gift would be appropriate, but am not 100% sure - someone correct me if i am wrong.

I meant to post the Program Preview for the December meeting right after the Extravaganza, but it (along with a few other things) left my mind during the event. It's posted now, here:

Dave,
I also recall $10 being the gift value for the exchange.

All,

It's a fish related gift you bring for the exchange, NOT a fish!
Just want to make this clear for the original poster.

Other than the gift exchange, the meeting has some regularity
with regards to BAP's, fish you can bring to auction, etc.
It's a really fun meeting and you will really enjoy yourself.
It's a chance to bring the kids and family so that they can
see what the fish club is all about.

ALSO: THE DECEMBER MEETING IS WHEN WE ELECT OFFICERS.
IF YOU HAVE ASPIRATIONS TO BECOME A BOARD MEMBER,
YOU CAN SIGN UP AT THE DECEMBER MEETING AS ELECTIONS
WILL BE HELD THAT NIGHT.
