Neolamprologus leleupi/Snails

Post by Wayne.Corman » Wed Sep 09, 2009 7:29 pm

Quick question I had my tank cycling for about 8 weeks with plants, after the 2 week I noticed some snails.. 4-5 at first then around 20ish all very tiny, I saw them every morning. I recently added 6 Neolamprologus leleupi Fry to my tank (2 are 1.5 inches long the other 4 an inch) to my surprise I hadn't seen any snails, just got done scanning the tank for a couple minutes and only found 4! I didn't think N. leleupi would eat snails even tiny ones still in the shell. I know the snails may be hiding, still I'm a little baffled so I thought I'd ask.

I did not think leleupi ate snails. I know Julies are great for this, who knows for sure?
