Julidochromis regani 'kipili' and Julidochromis marksmithi

Are these the same fish? Are their Julidochromis regani from kipili that are distinct from the J. marksmithi?

I have fish I purchased as J. regani kipli, which are clearly not marksmithi.

From what I have heard, Marksmithi is the new classification of regani kipili.
