400 km along the coast of Tanzania.

Post by Benoit » Sun May 01, 2011 8:41 am

Hi, I will present a journey of 400 km along the coast of Tanzania in October 2010. From Kigoma to Kipili.

With two friends, we shared two weeks with fishermen for fish keeping.
On a boat of 12 meters, we were nine people, and everything went very well.
A trip prepared for a long time (3 years), which was ideal.

We made 21 dives, makes 10,000 photographs (including 3000 when diving), 350 rushes videos.

Benoit,

A question about the above photo if I may....

I have this species in my own fish house (photo below for reference) but my own fish have never shown the second slightly elevated band of body spots that your picture shows, is this a variable feature of this species??

Thank you

Andrew

There is a high variability of pigmentation in this species, yes.

Truly fantastic pictures !! It's nice to see more than just the fish in the shot, and to see the true aquascape of the lake. Keep them coming...please.
