Help with ID please

I 've bought this couple yesterday but the seller couldn't6 tell me which species this is, can anyone help me?

Your fish appears to be the normal aquarium strain of Cichlasoma bimaculatum.
I had a similar fish over ten years ago that looked almost identical to your fish.
My fish grew to over 8 inches (I had no idea they could get that big). I traded the fish off to my local pet store. I regretted doing so ever since. Good luck.

According to the book "Die Buntbarsche Amerikas" written by RainerStawikowski / Uwe Werner, this fish resembles the Cichlasoma boliviense on page 112. Even the red on the nose is the same.
