The mouthbrooding forms are the new Heros liberifer. The true Heros severus is not a mouthbrooder, and has an unusual half bar just a couple of bars before the caudal fin. It was only recently re-discovered, and matched to the original description of H. severus. The new name applies to both the so-called mouthbrooding "severus" and the species "Atabapo".

I cannot confirm if your fish are H. liberifer, as I cannot access Facebook.

That would be a good sized male liberifer.
