The correct way to ask the question is: What Heros species is this?

Saying it is the family of severum is incorrect. The word severum is not a family name. It is a species name only.

Hi Myster619

Have you looked at the species section of Cichldae.com yet under the genus Heros?

If not, here it is: http://www.cichlidae.com/genus.php?id=90

The specimens in your photos are challenging as they do not have an ideal appearance for any of the species mentioned on this site. Do you have any background information on them? Where they came from, what generation are they from their wild ancestors, etc?
