Snow Storm

Post by limmer » Wed Nov 19, 2014 12:21 pm

Anyone know how the roads will be?
We are coming up from Ottawa, Ont. Canada. on Thursday.
We thought we would bypass Buffalo. Noticed the 90 is closed today around there.
Hwy 90 to Hwy 20 to Hwy 390 to Hwy 86.
Do think this will be a better way, or will there be lots of snow there also.

Once you get in the vicinity, Cleveland area should be pretty good Thursday through Monday. Sat through Monday will be upper forties/fifties.

The buffalo area is pretty bad from buffalo south to the NY/PA line. In Erie there's snow but not that much and the roads are clear. I 90 is closed from past Rochester Exit 46 which is I390, down to the NY/PA line and not sure if it will be cleared by then. You can check out the thruway website they have their updates there and they have live webcams at almost all the exits on 90. If you can make it to 390 and down to I 86 most of I 86 is only a few inches of snow. Good Luck and take your time, Be safe

unless you maybe able to catch "390 south from Rochester to 86 west - his will be far enough south and it merges with 90 10 miles west of the PA ny state line. I just don;t knw if you can get there via 90. This will add 2 hours.
The future is what you plan for, life is what you get, enjoy it.

Detroit has nothing but an inch of fluff. (Most of which has blown off the roads)

Thinking of going down the 81 to the 80 to get there now.
It will take a couple of hours more but it should be better.

Weather in the Cleveland area will be getting better each day through Sunday.
By Auction time we'll be in the 40's. Perfect weather this weekend for Extravaganza.
