Rio Claro

I bought a bag of Cutteri labeled F1 Rio Claro at a recent cichlid auction. They are Cutteri/Spilurum type, but I suspect they were mislabled as to origin. Can someone tell me what fish have been brought into "the hobby" from the Rio Claro ? :?

Ken Davis sells a "convict" from Rio Claro: A. siquia "Rio Claro"...

The cutteri that I have are from "Rio Jutiapa". Not sure if there is another from "Rio Claro"

We have only collected the Rio Claro once, I keep the only pair of A siquia we caught, several members of the group kept some of the Cutteri, Nice blue and yellow fish. Much more color than any other race currently in the hobby. Good find! Keep them pure.

I believe there are a number of different rivers with this same name. The one Ken is talking about is in Northern Honduras near Trujillo. I have two pair of F0 Dovii from this river which unfortunately refuse to spawn at this time :(
