Water Issues?

Post by Iggyinpa » Wed Feb 27, 2019 7:00 am

Please help! I have a 60gal tank that's been running for about two months now and keep loosing fish. I have a male and female black convicts, male and female pink convicts that are all doing fine, but have lost three firemouths and just this morning lost a pleco that's only been in the tank for about two weeks. The Ph is about 8.2, nitrites/nitrates are zero, ammonia also zero. Don't know what else could be happening.

Did you pinpoint the problem, Iggyinpa? I'd love to avoid something like that if I can.

I think your tank pH level is a little bit high, As per my experience, it should be 6.5-7.5. However not only pH level This would happen for may reason. Such as overfeeding, food poison and many more. So, I would recomnd you to research which think made wrong for your tank then start agin.
