Mexico Open to Collecting?

Post by dogofwar » Thu Feb 26, 2015 2:57 pm

There's a thread of a bunch of cichlids that a guy brought back from Mexico to the US.

Has something changed with rules for collecting and removing fish from Mexico?

I've been watching that thread as well. From his last "import" thread, It seems he doesn't want to give a straight answer on how he's bringing fish from Mexico back to states.

It's perfectly legal if you don't tell the Mexican and US authorities what you're doing....

It would be great to establish a legal and relatively simple way for hobbyists to collect and bring back a limited number of non-endangered fish from Mexico, at least for personal use.
