Paraneetroplus cf fenestratus 'Lago Catemaco' Spawning

Post by Jim Cumming » Thu Apr 04, 2013 11:31 am

Here's a video of my well bonded, four year old pair of 'Catemaco' spawning in their favorite pot. Looks like they have this routine down pat. They first spawned when the male was barely 4", the female 3". Presently the male is at 11" and the female just over 7". Certainly seems like "compatibility plus". Well, not so fast. Stay tuned for an interesting follow-up video of this same spawn. Amazing turn of events.

Lovey pair Jim.. I have been meaning to visit the lake as it is known for gorgeous surroundings, hopefully before the end of the year.
Saludos
