"La Ceiba Yellowhead" pairing

Post by dtoth » Wed Feb 22, 2012 11:00 am

So was curious is it best to let these guys pair off naturally as they grow up or to isolate out a male and female? Just trying to avoid the casualties from adding up when a pair does form and the destruction of the others of their kind begins lol. They're still small think the biggest which I believe to be a male is about 2 1/2", what size do these guys typically start pairing off and start getting ready to spawn?

Thanks,
Dave.

provide them with ample room, and wait

Expect them to pair of around 10 cm/4 inches for the male - or a bit larger

6 - 3:3 in a well decorated 4 footer would suffice in all ways
