ACA 2005

Post by Ken Boorman » Sat Jun 18, 2005 5:16 am

Just thought I would ask who is going to attend the ACA convention in Fort Worth. To kick the ball off, Lisa and I will be attending.

I live in Texas, so I have no excuse not to make it. Count me in!

Would not miss it for the world! Can't wait to see everyone, it should be a blast!

Don't forget to bring donations for the Babes In The Cichlid Hobby Silent Auction. 100% of the funds go to Cichlid Research and Cichlid Conservation. Clean out the supply closet and book case, and help raise some money for good cause!!!

Friday night the Babes In The Cichlid Hobby will be presenting The Guy D. Jordan Endowment Fund Oral Auction. This auction will be live and fish only. Donations are from the Florida Fish Farmers and hobbyists are also invited to donate a bag of RARE fish. Last year there was some fabulous specimens, and I am not just talking about the all girl runners!! You won't want to miss this auction. It will be late in the evening... and quite entertaining!

Saturday night Midnite Madness is back by popular demand. Meet us one more time at Midnite on Saturday night. This is the last night, the last get together before people start leaving. The Babes In The Cichlid Hobby will proudly present their Mystery Speaker!! You won't want to miss it!

For diehard cichlidiots in the group, we will be having The Babes In The Cichlid Hobby Banquet on Sunday Night. Sign up at the auction, and join us for a no-host dinner, it is a relaxing way to end the weekend!

Wow, it is going to be a fun and exciting weekend, so be sure to rest up before you come, because sleep is rare at these type of events.

See you soon!

I agree ACA was a hoot! It was worth the flight down. I'll post more later when I get a chance to catch up on stuff. :)
