ACA 2009 Cincinnati

Post by Lisachromis » Mon Jul 28, 2008 2:58 pm

http://www.2009aca.com/

I know it's early, but figured people would like to know where it will be.

PS

If they have the "movie" they made to promote this at the banquet, you REALLY NEED to see it. It's absolutely hilarious and would appeal to "cichlidiots" and also to "star wars geeks". It was really well done, and imo should go on youtube! Someone should post it!

Well if someone posts it, George Lucas will probably sue them
It was hillarious though. Sean did an EXCELLENT job on it.
Obi Wayne is probably a name that is going to stick around for a while.

Rooms at the Sheraton are going fast, so if you haven't gotten your reservations in yet, I would do so now to make sure that you will be in the convention hotel. Information can be found at www.acaconvention.com.

So is the WI-FI free?? On the site I thought it said you had to pay for it in your room? Free access in the lobby/public areas? Just wondering if I need my computer to be surgically removed before I get there?

If its free, thats awesome!

Pam, it is free at the Fairfield, but only free at the Sheraton in the hotel lobby. We tried to get them to relax that, but they wouldn't budge on that.

See you in three weeks.

Only two weeks away!! You can still register online at http://www.acaconvention.com or on-site at the convention. Also we are providing a one day registration for $25 that grants you full access to the speaker and workshop programs scheduled for that day.

Hope to see a lot of you there as it will be great time for all.

Our friends at the United Pet Group generously donated a 300g aquarium and a 75g aquarium!
The 300g aquarium will be up for silent auction! Bid high and bid often!!!

Be sure to inquire about all the auction items and to check the raffle items!

Yes, a 72g Bowfront tank and stand will be up for raffle thanks to our friends at Central Aquatics!
Remember the more raffle tickets you purchase the better your odds of winning!!!

Be sure to be at the Convention in Cincinatti this year!
Thanks, Rich

Yea, that's Discus Hans... can't recall why the head smack...

The quilt went for $200. The B.I.T.C.H.es made lots of money.
