There's been a change to the speaker lineup as Terry Fairfield is unable to attend. In his place, Willie Loh, current President of NADA, will be speaking on Discus.

Less than a week now until MCA EXPO 2007. Should be lots of great fish available to look at & take home! :)

The Show & Vendor area is free to attend & the Auctions on Sunday only cost $2 if not registered for EXPO.

Hope to see a few of you there! :)

I had a Blast too!!!! :D

It was a shotgun day for us! We left at Midnight Friday, got there at 7am Saturday! Enjoyed the show greatly!
Mo's photo talk set me up with a bunch of new photo ideas!
Ted's talk surely helped with water chemistry for everyone who was there!
Pam's talk on Africans was cool!
Chuck gave me great insights in line breeding!

I am going to use alot of the genetic code tracking for Angelfish and apply them to my Firemouths so that I can tighten my breeding program and focus on specific traits. He also talked to me afterwards and gave me some tips on coloring up the fry and what exactly to look for in possible breeders to capture that Albino Mutation! I have a brand new 6 year plan on trying to isolate the albino gene in T.Meeki without any hybrids! I am so happy!

I missed the talks on Friday and missed Willies talk while we were out and about. :(

We caught Nathan's talk on Loricades and saw some cool collecting pics too.

There was Pizza and Beer at the awards dinner. We had our fill of "pie" on Friday so we opted for the restaurant. Had a nice time at dinner with Mo, Jeff, Kyle(Big Kill), his sis Shelly, and myself! Always cool to get to know some folks!

We really wanted to stay and see Mo's Fishroom talk! It is always entertaining and the videos and pics are awesome! We also wanted to catch Jeremy's Geo talk, but had to roll at 7pm if we were going to do anything at home on Sunday! Jeff drove fast because we got back in 5 hrs!( I slept most of the way! :P )

We picked up some "Rio Tefe" Geo Proximus(sp?) from Jeremy and I grabbed a 5lbs bucket of flake!
Jeff got some great fish from Mo too!

A 26 hr day!!!!
Was it worth it?
Hell ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
