I am after some advice please. I have an existing tank filled with river gravel, and large coral pieces. I have bought another tank and will transfer the fish once set up. I would like peoples advice on what substrate is the best for the fish and looks. Most of the fish are around 4 inches long with a few baby labs.

Pool filter sand is a cheaper option than aquarium sand though it usually only comes in white, off-white or tan colors depending on where you live.
