Xenotilapia red princess

A place to discuss the wonderful assemblage of lake Tanganyika cichlids from the tribe Ectodini, like Callochromis, Xenotilapia, Enantiopus, Cyathopharynx and Ophthalmotilapia!

Xenotilapia red princess

Post by Tanganikamaniac » Sun Feb 18, 2018 12:33 pm

my new project is an aquarium for xenotilapia red princess, the tank measures 1.20 cm x 75 cm x 50 cm.
I want to keep a group of red princess and maybe some cyprichromis?
the decoration will consist of a layer of beach sand and some rock.
something that worries me is the temperature since the temperature in my city in summer exceeds many times the 30 C
I will use a little intense lighting so that they are calm

My questions ???
Posible aquarium commpanions?
which is the right temperature for them, I understand that no more than 25 C?
Thanks
