X. longispinnis - do you have it?

Post by Michael Andersen » Sat Apr 05, 2014 5:26 am

Hi everyone.

I've been searching for Xenotilapia longispinnis in Denmark (where I am located), Germany and Holland without any luck.
I would REALLY like to find some, so if you have some or know someone who have - please contact me on pm or simply let me know in this thread.

Thanks a lot, best regards / Michael.

Thomas Anderson had this species and even wrote an article on it a few years ago in Cichlid News Magazine.

Hi Mark, thanks for your reply!
Yes I know - some of his fry came out in Denmark and some in Germany, but they all seem to have vanished :/
It is very strange!, I have asked all major shops in Germany and Holland, have even tryed Poland - but with no luck at all.
I'm sad that I did'nt bye some fry from Thomas at that time!
I just got a mail today though, telling that one pair just should have arrived in Poland, so now I hope to get some fry from them if they succeed to breed them.
So hopefully I will get some within a year :)
