A place to discuss the wonderful assemblage of lake Tanganyika cichlids from the tribe Ectodini, like Callochromis, Xenotilapia, Enantiopus, Cyathopharynx and Ophthalmotilapia!

Hi, my foai cheek seems to have some growth or some sort.

Please advice if it is fungus or whitespots?
Thank you.

it's not whitedpot

but don't take pictures like this...especiually not with species like this!
Cyathopharynx is an easily stressed fish, and if the stresslevels go up, the fish get sick (or more sick); they can die from being handled, especially big ones......

Thanks mate for the heads up. Currently been dosing two cycles of Waterlife protozin seems to be doing the trick. The cheek has healed.
