NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The state fisheries department is hosting a free fishing rodeo to teach people how to catch the Rio Grande cichlid, an invasive species of fish.

I thought it was Los Angeles, but it is Louisiana ...

When I visited my parents, who lived in Florida years ago, I would see all kinds of Tropical non-native fish like
Jack Dempseys, Oscars, Severums ... and huge plecos in the drainage ditches and canals :shock:
