CARES on Facebook

Post by Klaus Steinhaus » Sun Oct 17, 2010 7:48 am

The CARES Preservation Program has now established a presence on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gi ... 8624721520

It would be much appreciated if you would take the time to have look and become a member of this Facebook group. The more, the better.
Conservation is in all our hearts and the CARES program give us all a chance to participate.

Together we can make a difference.

This makes me wonder, is there some kind of annual overview of the achievements of CARES available online?

I am not registered in facebook and have no desire to, but did inform CARES about the fish I have. This lead to interesting discussions for a while, but I haven't heard anything for a long time now ...

Paul, thank you for your comments.
I can't answer to the discussions you had but I can tell you that the CARES website (http://www.carespreservation.com) is going through a major change. This includes also the main database. A bit more patience is required though since CARES relays totally on volunteers. Hopefully this will be completed soon and you will be able to view the CARES achievements on line.
Thank you for your interest :)
