NEW Marineland No-Bypass Canister Filter review

I just got one of these and love it. Best of all there is a killer sale going on right now for these great filters and the price includes all the media too. (I like these as much as any Eheim I've owned.)

It looks like it doesn't come with quick disconnect valves. Is this true? If so, there will be a huge mess when you disconnect the tubing for cleaning.

It does have a quick disconnect very similar to eheim. The hoses stay attached to a valve block and the valve block disconnects from the canister itself, blocking off the water and allowing the canister to be moved for cleaning.

If you look at the photo there, the whole black base where the hoses attach is the valve block and the black part lifts off the canister once you move the thumb handle that is between the two hose connections.
