Fish bags

Post by Lisachromis » Thu Nov 08, 2012 2:00 pm

Opinions needed on the following.

I need to reorder bags for myself and am debating between the 2mm and the 3mm thick ones. Which would you get and why? Just wondering if I shouldn't do mostly 2mm ones and get some extras at the 3mm size for traveling long distances.

I'd use thicker 3mm bags for larger "spiny" fishes - pleos or vieja. 2mm should be fine for fry and traveling, don't forget if you double bag you get 4mm.

Also, don't forget if you have valuable "spiny" fish a square or "rounded" bottom bag would work well too.

I use a combination of all three to meet my needs.
