Tanganyikan tank

Post by Jshakour » Sun Jan 29, 2012 10:03 pm

This is my 90 gallon bow front that I have set up for Tanganyikans.

It is home to the following...

N. caudopunctatus
N. leleupi
Julidochromis marlieri
Altolamprologus calvus
Synodontis eupterus
Synodontis petricola
Ancistrus sp.

I have about 100 pounds of Texas Holey rock which sits on about 50 pounds of pea gravel.

The filter consists of a 20 high sump. The water flows into the sump and goes through some filter floss and then trickles down through bio balls, through filter sponges and into the pump for the ride back up into the tank. I do not use carbon or any other form of chemical filtration. Alittle declore at the time of a water change and thats it!

This tank has been up and running for over two years,
