Nanochromis splendens

Post by Mark Smith » Mon Jul 09, 2007 4:16 pm

I recently came across this nice photo of what I believe to be the first color photo of a live Nanochromis splendens (male). It came from the American Museum of Natural History's website.

Once on this page, scroll down to the 14th photo down, on the left side.

Definitely one of the best looking Nanochromis species to date.

It sure is a beauty!

The rest of the homepage on "The Congo Project" is very interesting: http://research.amnh.org/ichthyology/co ... ex_02.html - Thanks for posting the link, Mark!
