Sometimes a new home gets fish spawning, Pterochromis congicus

I had to move an adult trip from the garage to an inside tank, similar dimensions 200 gallons, it wasn’t long for a pair to form and produce a large plaque of eggs. I hope the eggs hatch and survive me 😅.
Anyhow, not much is known about the husbandry of this fish so all I can say is that they are fairly calm but hold their ground against other cichlids. I keep them in hard Texas water and they ocassionally get live fish- they are excellent hunters.
