Krib Tank Algae

Post by grottosandfins » Sat Jun 17, 2006 11:14 pm

My krib tank has started growing green hair algae on the plants. The kribs pick at it but don't really put too much of a dent in it. Is there any fish that will eat this stuff?

Otocinclus species eat algae and not the pants.

You could also try Amano Shrimp.

Maybe cut back a little on feeding and lighting too. That might help your algae situation.
