Spawning Discus
When I took over these Discus from a friend, all I wanted is to see if I could keep them alive. Well, I guess I can........... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/buntbarsch/SA-CA%20Cichlids/discus-5-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/buntbarsch/SA-CA%20Cichlids/discus-10.jpg http://img...

Re: ACA News Jan 2010
Frank, I agree with you 100%. However, I have explained the workings and structure of the DCG in the ACA forum many times but there is no interest. Maybe I did not explain it properly but even though, it is VERY obvious that the DCG concept works perfectly and I don't understand why nobody looks int...

Re: ACA News Jan 2010
Mo, being a member of the ACA for a good number of years, I appreciate very much your efforts and time spent to turn this association around. I also appreciate your willingness to accept criticism as a positive thing and use it as an advantage. However, I also believe that you are fighting an uphill...

Re: Cryptoheros Chetumalensis

Here are some photos of my fish and I hope that somebody will give me a proper identification. http://img.photobucket.c...

Re: Paratroplus kieneri
These fish belong to a good friend of mine and come originally from France. They breed willingly and I look very much forward to some of his fry. The behavior of these fish is very interesting, especially the feeding. They stick their head in the substrate and shake it side to side to look for snail...

Re: Tropheus ID
The dark striping on the sides are similar to the namansi but looking at the coloration they are closer to the chaitika. There are very few Tropheus with a blue dorsal fin. Most have a red dorsal, some a yellow dorsal this intense blue I have only seen in Chaitikas. I have never seen Tropheus colore...
