Hi.
I have a pair F1 of Uaru from Santa Rem. They, and espicielly their youngs have much blue. Maybe not so shining like these pics. but that is maybe the light?

Biotoecus opercularis.

Does anyone know anything about this one ? I just bought 3 but one died the day after. They were in very bad condition. And very expensive, but I just had to try.

Now I think I know. The latest, smallest are meeki. These I thought was passiones, are helleri, they have more pink now. And the first i bought, as helleri are ellioti. But I am still pussled, are maculipinis and ellioti the same? By the way, my (ellioti) breeds every 3. week. but the baby`s are eat...

Thanks Michael. I think, that my newest Thorichthys. Are meeki, Then these I bougth, before, very yellow must be pasiones, but maybe I just have to wait until they grow a litle bigger, to be sure. And then the first I bougth as helleri, are something else, maculipinis, ellioti or something like that...

Hi, I just bought a (pair) of T. meeki ? Only 5 cm. but very nice. But I`m not shure if it is meeki ? They have very shining blue flanks, what I have never seen befor in the meeki ? No, the fish in the back of the picture. I have 3 different pairs of efasciatus, one is Rotkeil, one have a blue face and the last are from Rio Magdalena. And none of these have spots. Two first are about 8-10 ". But i have seen notatus, very beatyfull spots on males. I too have the severus. Like th...

Heros notatus ???

I bought this fish as a Heros notatus. But now when he is grown 17/18cm. I do not think he looks like a notatus? Both pic`s same fish, same day, but different light.
