Re: Review trip to Monterrey and Cuatro Cienegas, México

Looks nice, too bad a trip from the border on the Auto Pista could leave you without a head........too dangerous to go to Mexico, from here.

Re: Dovii Biotope

I have 7 large clown loaches living with my breeding pair of dovi, been together for almost 3 years. The dovi are a 16 inch male, a 11 inch female and the loaches are from 7 to 9 inces long.

THere is also 3 plecos in the tank, other fish can live with dovi, 250 gallon tank.

Re: Once upon a time in Mexico

No problems with the internal violence in Mexico?

I know the majority of the problems are in the Northern region, fact is we can hear the gunfire here at times from the problems.

Nice fish.

Re: 2: the aquarium stream (Austria)

It would appear that people continue to "seed" the river with fishes. I know that the situation is not good for the natives, but it is really beautiful, the contrast with the snow is amazing. As an aside I guess with the cold water stream there, it really barricades the tropicals into a defined area...

Never heard of these species............ probably Floridian derivatives. LOL!!
Conkeli is NOT it's own species. It is simply a pink fenestratus.

Not on all the boards.........

Re: Dovii Races - Please Clarify

I have some captive Nics, and they went through many bad spawns before getting it right. Now they are back on the same track again, the last 2 spawns have not produced any babies. I got them in April 2007, any ideas on getting them back to producing fry?

Re: Dovii Races - Please Clarify

Everybody I have heard seems to think the nics are longer bodied and the CR version has a more compact body. I ma not saying this is the truth, but I am regurgitating this information, because that is what you do on the internet!
