I have my share of parachromis but my most interactive cichlid to date has got to be my 12" red devil Guapo he seems to tolerate me but the minute my wife enters the room he goes nuts attacking the glass flaring and trying to bite her through the glass and of course she will tease him by kissing me ...

Im not going to say anything about the inhabitants of your aquarium or what you may end up with in the end all I can say is your aquarium is sweet nice job with the aquascaping VERY VERY NICE!!!!! and thats my opinion thanks for sharing.

if its the one that keeps coming to the front it looks like a flowerhorn to me the other one in the back kind of looks like a red isletas but it could be a flowerhorn as well if you got them both from the same place then I say both flowerhorns HTH

I built a plywood tank although it was about 150 gallons I used fiberglass resin on 3/4" plywood and then sealed the glass to it using silicone other than the strong smell from the resin it turned out pretty good it held water just fine only thing is we moved and I had it sitting outside at the new ...

I will try to get some pictures later today its just really hard because they just will not be still I had to net one out to count the anal spines the reason I wanted to get a positive ID is Ive got a pair in the tank so I might be getting rid of the rest and I wouldnt want to let a fish into the ho...

the 90 is just a grow out tank for them being as they are all no more than an inch and a half total length I was merely trying to get some input as to whether or not it would be wise to put the istlanum in there as well thanks to all that responded,Mike

Ive got some juvenile yellow labridens and some herichthys bartoni I want to put them in the same tank I have plenty of hiding areas in the tank its a 90 gallon my question would everyone be able to live together if I put some nandopsis istlanum in there as well they are all approximately 1.5 inches...

I had to temporarily house my escondido male at 7 inches with a red tail cat that was 14 inches at the time and he beat my red tail down so I would not reccomend putting it with an oscar Ive come across some pretty aggresive oscars in my time but I havent come across one that could match the aggresi...
