Re: Exploding heaters?

Kyle what I read on the net from the guy who's tank had a hole blown in it is that Marineland was taking care of him. as in new tank...stand...new floor for the water damage etc So its good to hear that Marineland is taking care of their customers. But man when I looked at my two and they had the sa...

Re: Exploding heaters?

Hey Bob The lot number is located on the heater itself. It is toward the control knob end...in white letters If you look at that end of the heater its fatter where the lights is and necks down....the number is right on the necked down part. It is kind of small but easily readable. Mine was 01H31 I r...

Re: Exploding heaters?

OK just an update. Since I had two of the heaters in the suspect batch/lot I called Marineland. Their support guy was aware of "some issues" but assured me that it was only a very small percentage of the heaters they have sold. He said if I was concerned they could send me a couple new heaters and w...

Re: Please help with my HIGH PH levals!

This is kind of an old thread but heres my take on it anyhow haha How did these fish end up now? I dont think it is pH either. A pH of 7.2 to 7.6 is ok for almost all discus....especially domesticated strains. Adding things like chemicals to alter pH is asking for trouble with pH swings that will do...

Re: Next GLCS Auction

Im with ya Kyle.... if these auctions cannot be run in such a way to make sellers feel like its worth their time and effort then may as well quit them all together. I'll use your example again haha $59 for 15 bags = $3.93 per bag lets round up in the clubs favor and say Kyle bags averaged $4 minus $...
