Re: Greetings from uruguay

Hello,
I love Uruguay, i have been there 5 times also with Felipe in Salinas. Was hoping to move there and buy that big pink house next to the beach in Salinas!
Many beautiful fish, and of course ladies in your country!

Oreochromis Mossambicus "gold" that way you can eat a few each week and supply local restaurants.
The gold form is nice to look at and good to eat.
Otherwise a Moba Frontosa tank with hundreds of Cyprichromis.

with those "panda" frontosa, some of them are missing alot of the black pigment from the stripes.
They will soon have a solid white/silver/gray frontosa pretty soon it looks like.

yeah, i know the guy with the albino, he has viable fry from her.
without a albino male, he needs to grow up these fry that carry the trait to breed with the mother.
still a couple of years before a bunch of albino frontosa reach the market.

temperature can play an important role. example, at 70 degrees my female frontosa will hold for 5-6 weeks, at 80 they will hold 4-5 weeks. My frontosa fry are usually at the sale size of 1.25 inches in 2 months. I also feed them small multiple meals, of various types. I over filter, and do water cha...

Some of the popular combos are phenochilus, C. moori and yellow labs, in addition to the peacocks that Mr. Woodland suggested. I have used them, sometimes you can get an aggressive one in the bunch. Also, they are a bit more active than C. frontosa and they will nip fins, which not only will startle...
