hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry, I dont know a whole lot about the fish you mentioned, but I wanted to ask you... where did you get your centrals at? I live in the area and havnt seen much of a selection anywhere.

Well this is what I've been told (but from a very reliable source, article on cichlidae) The Albinos naturally occur in lake Malawi but are line bred to get more albino genes in the fry and so on... or however that works. OB's are a manmade hybrid by mixing peacocks, mbuna, and possibly fryeri. I've...

how about a tanks section?

first of all, I would just like to say that this is a great site. One thing that I would enjoy and I think everyone could benifit from is a members' tanks section. It could give an idea of fish that people mix, aquascaping examples, ect. Just something to think about,

From what I've heard, OB peacocks are from some type of mbuna crossed with a peacock and/or freyeri. I also have one of these, cool fish, didnt know it was a hybrid at the time but it doesnt really bother me now, I dont buy anything if I think its a hybrid though.

Looks very nice. Personally I like more rocks than that but like you said if you have haps/peacocks less is better. I'd like ot see some pics when you get some fish.

I think you may have a chance of cross breeding. the females look similar and the dominent male could "have" all of them. I dont know if its just a varient, I've heard both ways.
