Update, they still won't come out with the lights on. This isn't a problem. I have since taken out some rock, and made them some Flowerpot housing (small terracotta pots with holes drilled in them). I have left the light off for a couple of days now, and they seem happy to cruise the tank, staying a...

Guess what Lisa,

Already have some dithers, and it doesn't work, I am going to try a few things. If all else fails, they will go into a community tank.

I don't think that Aulonocara OB is a cross between Aulono and Pseudo ! it seems to be a selection from various variants of Aulonocara. P. I don't know that anyone is quite sure of the origins of the OB Peacock, and which species were used to make this blotchy hybrid. No hybrids in my aquaria to an...

Looks great M8!

Here's a decor Idea, you basically have 3 rock piles, and a "huge" sandy area. Why not, get 1 or 2 rocks and put them in the foreground (front) between the two other pile to form a W.

I recommend the Copadichromis borleyi, and those Placidochromis electra look pretty sweet.

Who's keeping them and what are they like

I thought I would help kick off interest in this folder.

Though I have never kept them, some of you out there do and or have in the past. How about giving us some insight into what they are like in the aquarium. :D

The Blue Rams around here are very hit and miss, from store to store, you see bent spines, deformed heads and poor colouring. Others look quite stunning.

As for longevity, some last a week, others live long and properous lives.

Pv Subocellatus - extremely shy

Has anyone got any hints and tips for getting these shy guys of the cichlid world to appear with the lights on?

Such amazing fish, but they don't like light.
