Neil,

You want to do a major water change, vacuum the gravel, and clean the filter and then medicate with something that will get rid of that fungus. I can't seem to find brand name to help you out, but any med that says it clears up fungus. The eyes are always a concern since once the eyes are damaged, they are usually blind.

What the causes this? Usually it is poor water conditions, oscars are known to pollute their tanks faster than any other cichlid. You need to change your water more often, and also a higher percentage, to keep up with the bioload.

Good Luck,
Cichlid Power!
