itching or playing ?

Post by Cassandra » Sun Oct 10, 2004 2:35 am

Hi Pam thank you very much for the answer I´ll keep an eye on them.
I know what food and water etc. they need, I´ve been reading books and articles on the internet for a month before buying including visiting two breeders/importeurs (many different opinions on food and companions though...), but haven´t been able to find anything on how they act besides how they breed and nurse..
I´ll have to look up how to convert your degrees into celsius - otherwise they´ll boil :? they have 26 celsius
a fun and interesting fish! - cichlides I wanted and when seeing the tropheus I didn´t want any other. I keep 45 of them/15 of each.
best regards and thanks to you and this indispensable forum

45 Tropheus age 2-4 months/when they mature, the Kacheses or the Moliros will have to go into another tank.

Hi Cassandra,

I can see that you are already addicted to Tropheus!! Okay, I am really glad to hear that you have done some research on this fun cichlid! I really like them too, and always manage to have a few groups going. The behavior is very fun to watch, as they develop a social group, and I really enjoy watching the interaction between the members. I tell you its better than TV!!

I just wrote an article that sums up how I feel about this genus, and why I like them so much. I hope you enjoy it and good luck with your Tropheus!
