Focus Central America

Pomimo, że pielęgnice z Ameryki Środkowej zostały dobrze opisane na poziomie gatunkowym, to ekologia, ewolucja, jak również przynależność rodzajowa wielu z nich wciąż pozostaje niejasna. Sekcja ta ma za zadanie przedstawiać i wyjaśniać wszystkie nowe informacje na temat ekologii, ewolucji oraz taksonomii tego wspaniałego zbioru gatunków rodziny Cichlidae.
