A book in German language on Central American cichlids, a very thoughtful 271 pages book complete with a map and hundreds of color pictures (some B/W) of most Central American cichlids species and variants known at the time, photos took in aquarium, newly caught and also of their habitats. Cichlids are discussed by groups giving a synthesis of the scientific and taxonomic work on them as well as observations and comments by this two well known German aquarists.
