The home page of the well known editorialship company of Ad Konings, where most of the best books around on cichlids are created. Available in English, French, Dutch, German and Swedish. Cichlid press home page features the latest books, posters and videos produced by the company. The books are described in detail and the table of contents offered, the amount of pages each given chapter takes is shown. Orders to any of the Cichlid press products can be taken on line at the site.
Not just that, Ad koning's company home page also offers free to the public one of the nicest cichlid taxonomic information sources available (let alone Internet). Martin Geert's Cichlid Press reference service gives taxonomic data for EVERY cichlid species and genus ever described, being a standing one or a Synonym. It Includes species, author, publication source, type locality and synonyms. In the future more data will be as well available, like the closests relatives, the diagnosis,illustrations and references for each one of the mentioned species. Indeed a monumental work that is a gold mine of cichlid information, with few people around like Martin Geerts with the knowledge to undertake such a job.
On a ligther side, Cichlid press home page offers a picture section with several of the famous Ad Koning's pictures to be obtained free for computer screen wallaper use. All in all, one of the best cichlid oriented sites available, something up to what is expected from Ad.
