Neochromis omnicaeruleus Seehausen & Bouton, 1998
最初命名為 Neochromis omnicaeruleus:
- Seehausen, Ole & E. Lippitsch, N. Bouton and H. Zwennes. 1998. "Mbipi, the rock-dwelling cichlids of Lake Victoria: description of three new genera and fifteen new species". Ichthyological Explorations of Freshwaters. v. 9 (n. 2), pp. 129-228 (crc00316) (摘要).
保育: Neochromis omnicaeruleus 被評鑑為國際自然保育聯盟瀕危物種紅皮書名單中的 (LC) 無危 (2010). Although all Lake Victoria should be considered fragile habitat, the environment where Neochromis omnicaeruleus is found can be regarded as stable and pristine. It also seems to thrive in these ecosystems with healthy reproducing populations.
