Highly respected and experienced aquarist, Pam has visited cichlid habitats around the world, and bred in her's and her husband Gary fish house hundreds of cichlid species. Astatotilapia burtoni Günther, 1893
最初命名為 Chromis burtoni:
- Günther, Albert C. L. G.. 1894. "Descriptions of the reptiles and fishes collected by Mr. E. Coode-Hore on Lake Tanganyika". Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London. v. 1893 (n. 4): pp. 628-632 (crc00212).
同種異名:
- Tilapia nadinae Borodin , 1931, 其模式產地在 Albertville [Kalemie], Zaire [Democratic Republic of Congo], Lake Tanganyika. 鑑定者: van Oijen, 1991.
保育: Astatotilapia burtoni 被評鑑為國際自然保育聯盟瀕危物種紅皮書名單中的 (LC) 無危 (2006).
