Haplochromis obliquidens (Hilgendorf, 1888)
Original description as Chromis (Haplochromis) obliquidens:
- Hilgendorf, F. M.. 1888. "Fische aus dem Victoria-Nyanza (Ukerewe-See), gesammelt von dem verstorbenen Dr. G. A. Fischer". Sitzungsberichte der Gesellschaft naturforschender Freunde in Berlin. pp. 75-79 (crc00096).
Synonyms:
- Hemitilapia bayoni Boulenger, 1908, With type locality at Bugala, Sesse Island, Lake Victoria, Uganda. Determiner: van Oijen, 1991.
Conservation: Haplochromis obliquidens is evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species as (VU) vulnerable (2010).
