Psammochromis riponianus (Boulenger, 1911)
Original description as Pelmatochromis riponianus:

Conservation: Psammochromis riponianus is evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species as (LC) least concern (2010). Psammochromis riponianus is still living in the lake, some has been caught in 2001 by Yves Fermon in the Kenyan shores.
